A snowy Christmas morning

Merry Christmas everyone.

We heard all the predictions of snow for today, but after living in Oregon for 33 years, we've come to "believe it when we see it".

This morning we awoke to cold & rain but no snow. I prepared the cinnamon rolls to take to Dad's and waited for the kids to wake up so we could do presents. At 8:30, with hot coffee in hand, we started opening our gifts. Around 10:30 we piled into our car and headed to Dad's where, low & behold, it was snowing... big fluffy flakes. The snow continued the entire time we were there and only stopped as we headed home. What fun!

Right now, I'm the only one not napping...I think they've all had a blood sugar crash.

This is the first year in a long time that I've not done a Christmas Day open house. It feels really good to be lazy but I miss visiting with friends & family as they drop by. We may go out to Marek & Suzie's later if we can work up the energy.

I hope you all are having a very special day.

At The Beach

We're spending four days at the beach with the kids. Enjoy some pictures below.

We're Trying This!

Well our kids talked us into this, so we're going to give this blog thing a try. Check back periodically to see all the fun things we're up to these days.
